Let’s get old and keep in good shape together: Reusable tableware made of specialty plastic Ultrason®

The Japanese plastic products manufacturer Kyoraku, Tokyo, now uses BASF’s specialty plastic Ultrason® to add a unique tableware design concept to their comprehensive household goods portfolio: It is called Amberware and is made of Ultrason® E 3010 nat, an injection-molding and extrusion polyethersulfone (PESU) with improved toughness and high chemical resistance. The unique feature: Due to the original honey-colored tint of the PESU material, the plates have a light, transparent amber color.

BASF and AltaGas sign long-term Butane Supply Agreement
 

Zug, Switzerland and Calgary, Canada, July 23, 2025 – BASF Intertrade AG (“BASF”) and AltaGas Ltd. (“AltaGas”) have signed a long-term commercial agreement for supply of butane via AltaGas and Royal Vopak’s Ridley Island Energy Export Facility ("REEF") commencing in 2027.
