BASF presents ‘Get the Look’ concept at NYSCC Suppliers Day
FLORHAM PARK, NJ, May 13, 2012 -- BASF will feature its latest innovations and market concepts runway style in booth 301 at the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day on May 15-16 at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition center in Edison, New Jersey. The event draws more than 3,000 chemists and managers from personal care companies in the northeast region.
Under the new Care Creations™ global brand for BASF Personal Care, the company will present its innovations, which combine science excellence with a deep understanding of market and consumer needs.
Get The Look — Innovative market concepts following the trends for 2013
Get The Look is based on extensive research that reveals top trends consumers will see in 2013. Drawing inspiration from real life, the concept was developed using a combination of 40 BASF product formulations in all industry categories. The concept will be presented via live models on the runway in BASF booth 301. The formulations will be available for demonstration on the exhibit floor and listed in the first edition of BASF Create magazine that will be distributed during the event.

Actiwhite™ – new clinical study on reduction of age-spots
Actiwhite™ is a synergistic complex of sucrose dilaurate and pea extract which offers the decisive advantage to combine rapidly visible in vivo effectiveness on both skin lightening and reduction of age spots, also in compliance with Asian regulatory requirements and high-cutaneous tolerance. In addition to its previously demonstrated efficacy on skin lightening, the new carried out clinical tests have highlighted its capability to visibly reduce the contrast between the skin tone and the hyperpigmented age spot area in just 14 days.
