BASF expands exclusive territory assignments for two North American kaolin distributors
CHARLOTTE, NC, June 26, 2012 -- BASF Corporation has expanded the territories of two exclusive distributors for its industrial kaolin products, Brandt Technologies, Bensenville, Illinois, and Superior Materials, Garden City, New York.
Effective September 1, 2012, Brandt Technologies will expand its existing exclusive BASF industrial kaolin Midwest territory representation to include Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania. Superior Materials will add eastern Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland to its exclusive Mid-Atlantic region.
“We are excited to expand the responsibilities of these channel partners. They have demonstrated consistent high levels of customer commitment over the many years they have represented BASF industrial kaolin,” said Jan Jeffries, Sales Director, for BASF in North America.
Frank Bergonzi, Director, Corporate Distribution for BASF in North America, said that the change is consistent with BASF’s corporate channel strategy.
“We are consolidating the number of distributors we use and increasing to the responsibilities of incumbent distributors,” said Bergonzi.
