We advise internal clients in designing their supply chains.

We take a strategic perspective on our clients' business strategy and requirements. This covers their target operating model, supply chain network, risk and sustainabilty as well as planning processes.

Our focus on executive Sales & Operations planning drives innovation, supply chain digitalization and resilience, leading to a sustainable organizational design.

We support our internal clients in assessing their current supply chain performance against their business goals.

We analyze, challenge and help them to sustainably enhance customer experience. This involves improving clients' end-to-end order to cash performance from raw material supplier to end customer as well as their supply chain footprint, digitalization, collaboration, performance, capabilities, inventory or service levels.

We assist internal clients in assessing their current supply chain performance with focus on Inbound and Site Logistics Operations.

We analyze Site Logistics Operations from a customer-focused end-to-end perspective and help improve cost positions following a lean approach. Through our in-depth cross-business perspective we ensure that our clients' operations are in sync with their overall steering processes.

Ulrike Waeser, Head of Practice Group

We cover BASF's supply chain in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects – e.g. in the due diligence process. During an integration or carve-out, our M&A experts guide and collaborate with our internal clients' supply chain teams in all necessary activities until the project is completed and business continuity is ensured.

In addition, we are part of the evaluation of supply chain aspects in investment projects, and will give our internal clients guidance on how to best prepare for it.

Markus Engelke, Head of Practice Group

We provide specific know-how in Supply Chain reporting - including Key Performance Indicator concepts and calculations - as well as in relevant Supply Chain processes.

Our team supports in inhouse consulting projects with relevant data and guides our clients in reporting-related projects. Using state-of-the-art reporting tools and business analytics methodologies, we enable the steering of business processes in BASF units based on Supply Chain data and KPIs.

As part of our global unit, our regional consulting service units in North America and Asia-Pacific provide bundled expertise for Supply Chain concepts, projects, methods, enablement, and sustainable implementation.

Our regional units are solution providers, know-how hubs, and implementation supporters for the BASF Supply Chain community.
