BASF is proud to introduce a breakthrough innovation in canola seed, InVigor Gold. Designed to unlock the full genetic potential of canola quality Brassica juncea in new areas of Canada and the United States, InVigor Gold is expected to feature hybrids with LibertyLink herbicide tolerance, inherent pod shatter resistance and strong blackleg disease resistance. InVigor Gold also features outstanding heat tolerance, allowing farmers to utilize land that may have been fallow or idle, providing a new income source for farmers and the agriculture channel.
 

BASF is celebrating the 10^th anniversary of its TECH Academy – a weeklong educational and workforce development program designed to inspire students to learn more about technical and craft careers. With more than 390 students participating in TECH Academy nationwide since 2015, this milestone marks significant progress in advancing BASF’s mission to introduce high school students to careers in manufacturing.

BASF has opened its new Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Solution Center, in Wyandotte, Michigan. This investment underscores the ongoing commitment of BASF to providing innovative solutions in the biopharma and pharmaceutical ingredients industries, including the reliable supply of bioprocessing ingredients and excipients for biopharma applications as well as small molecules.

BASF has announced a donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross of Louisiana, continuing BASF’s long-standing partnership with the Red Cross and their joint commitment to community safety and support.
