Industrial and commercial areas

At its Grenzach site, BASF develops state-of-the-art UV filters and antimicrobial solutions and produces UV filters for the cosmetics and personal care industry on an industrial scale. Discover more (in German).

Around 57,000 square meters of the site, which is fully fenced and secured with a gate, are currently available for flexible industrial use. Most of the industrial areas are connected to energy and other infrastructure services via tunnels, allowing your company to easily set up assets and quickly begin operations. The perfectly coordinated site services can be used as required, so that you and your staff can concentrate on your core business. In our existing buildings, you will have access to laboratory facilities for your development and quality control – convenient and on your doorstep.

The north-western section of the industrial park, close to the wastewater treatment plant, also offers around 50,000 square meters of space for commercial enterprises.

Infrastructure and site services

At our site, everything you need for your production is available right on your doorstep. The high-performance infrastructure enables you to get started right away. Our site in Grenzach has a modern wastewater treatment plant for complex industrial wastewater, including an emergency system. We supply you with steam, electricity, compressed air, cooling water and other utilities on an industrial scale at the site. The industrial areas within the site are at ground level and connected to supply and discharge lines via underground energy distribution tunnels.

Industrial and production-related companies that share the site with us benefit from a wide range of site services, including support with permits, site security and our own fire brigade, analytics and environmental services, logistics and technical services, maintenance, and more. In addition, your staff enjoy access to site medical services, a canteen and parking.
