In einer Anlage für Zwischenprodukte am Standort Ludwigshafen kommen moderne HoloLens®-Brillen zum Einsatz, um Anlagenänderungen kosteneffizient zu planen und durchzuführen. Andreas Ernst (rechts), Assistant Asset Manager, und Felix Volkmann (links), Asset Manager, sehen in der Brille ein digitales 3D-Modell der Anlage eingeblendet, das sich über ihr reales Sichtfeld legt. So überprüfen sie mit dem 3D-Modell geplante Anlagenänderungen, z.B. Rohrleitungsänderungen, direkt vor Ort in der Anlage. Sie sehen, ob sich alle Teile genau ineinanderfügen oder noch Anpassungsbedarf besteht. Die Anlage für Zwischenprodukte stellt in 16 Teilanlagen ein breites Portfolio von ca. 50 Zwischenprodukten, wie zum Beispiel Amine oder Diole her. Kunden von BASF benötigen diese zum Beispiel für die Herstellung von Lacken für die Automobilindustrie, Medikamenten oder Pflanzenschutzmitteln.
