Americas

BASF operates a wide range of business, production and research activities across the Americas, with sites in North, Central and South America. The range of roles and responsibilities you'll find here are shaped by regional markets and site‑specific requirements.

Working in the U.S.
The United States is a key market for BASF and an important pillar of our presence in North America. We have major locations in Florham Park (New Jersey), Freeport (Texas), Geismar (Louisiana), and Wyandotte (Michigan).

Working in Brazil
In Brazil, we operate across multiple locations with key sites in São Paulo, Camaçari, and Guaratinguetá. The country is a key part of BASF’s presence in South America, supporting a broad range of business and production activities connected to diverse industries and local markets.

Asia Pacific

The Asia-Pacific region is our most dynamic growth market. Across many countries, our production, research and office locations are shaping innovation and working closely with customers from a wide range of industries. Our teams in APAC bring together international collaboration and strong local expertise, playing a vital role in driving BASF’s global success.

Working in China
Our presence in China includes major sites in Shanghai, Nanjing, Chongqing, and Zhanjiang - one of our most advanced and strategically important sites worldwide. In addition to large sites, we have built a competitive sales and innovation network across China that reflects the breadth of our activities.

Working in India
India is one of our key growth markets in the Asia Pacific region. You will find production, research and office locations across the country. We're strengthening our presence further by establishing global business services and a digital hub in Hyderabad. Europe

Europe is a core region for BASF with our headquarters located in Ludwigshafen, Germany. You will find production sites, research and development centers, and offices across many European countries.
