Li Li joined BASF Venture Capital as an investment manager in 2018. Based in Hong Kong, she is responsible for investment and portfolio management in Asia (excluding China). She pays special interest to decarbonization, alternative feedstock, digitalization, circular economy etc.
Li brings extensive experience in corporate strategy and venture investment to her role. She began her career at PwC China, advising leading investors including Warburg Pincus, TPG, Sequoia, and multinational corporations on transactions. She subsequently established and led the corporate strategy and M&A department for Voith Group in China, and prior to joining BASF Venture Capital, managed SABIC Ventures' China activities.
Li holds an Economics degree from Fudan University.
Outside of work, Li enjoys extended hiking adventures and exploring cuisines with friends, and treasures quiet evenings reading with her family.
