Dr. Livio Tedeschi
Member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE
Livio Tedeschi was born in Frosinone, Italy, in 1971. He studied chemistry at La Sapienza University in Rome and obtained a PhD in organic synthesis from RWTH Aachen. He concluded post-doctoral research at Imperial College London, United Kingdom and holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School, France, and Mannheim Business School, Germany.
Livio Tedeschi joined BASF in 2003, starting his career as a team leader in the Global Research Agricultural Products unit. Over the following years, he held various leadership positions in marketing, strategy, and business development with international responsibility across Europe and the United States. In 2017, he became Senior Vice President, heading the Agricultural Solutions business in Europe. In 2022, he assumed global responsibility for the Agricultural Solutions division. Livio Tedeschi is since 2026 a member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE and Head of the Agricultural Solutions Management Board.
Livio Tedeschi is responsible for the Agricultural Solutions division.
