BASF-YPC Co., Ltd. has three naphtha tanks of 50,000 m3, ensuring a stable supply of the feedstock for the steam cracker. These inner floating roof tanks can reduce evaporation losses, the risk of fire and atmospheric pollution, prevent corrosion of tank roofs and walls and thereby prolong the lifetime of the tanks. BASF-YPC Co., Ltd. is a 50-50 joint venture between BASF and Sinopec, founded in 2000.
