BASF in Denmark
BASF is an active partner to the industry in Denmark. We sell products from BASF's wide product range as well as supplementary products from a number of other suppliers.
BASF companies in Denmark supply a wide range of raw materials to many industries. We work in close cooperation with the BASF companies all over Europe. Our most important customers are to be found within the industry for plastics, chemicals, construction and building as well as the automotive industry and in the human nutrition and agricultural sector. BASF Group companies employ about 300 people in Denmark. Among our group companies, you will find BASF A/S, BASF Coatings Services AB and Chemetall AB.
We combine economic success with social responsibility and environmental protection. We make our contribution to finding the answers for global challenges such as climate protection, energy efficiency, nutrition and mobility.
BASF A/S, the main operating company in Denmark, represent the connecting part between the industry in our region and the competence within science and technology acquired by the BASF group during many years in close co-operation with customers all over the world. We work in close cooperation with the other BASF companies all over Europe. Among the synergy effects of a pan-European organisation are the benefits we can draw from each other's know-how and special products.
We have three locations in Denmark: the head office is located in Copenhagen, and our other sites are to be found in Ballerup and Vejle.
Offering a comprehensive range of products for field and specialty crops, our Agricultural Solutions division provides expert advice and solutions to suit individual farmer needs.
BTC Europe GmbH
BASF A/S is acting as an agent for BTC Europe GmbH in the Nordic/Baltic region. We focus on specialty chemicals and performance polymers. We can offer you the competence and the continuity of the world's leading chemical company, combined with the flexibility and speed.
BASF Coatings Services AB is a subsidiary of BASF Coatings AG, supplying customers in the Nordic countries with leading edge coatings products, including complete automotive body painting systems.
Coatings and paints from BASF Coatings protect surfaces, give them color, and luster. We aim to meet the toughest technical and quality standards, providing solutions that are aesthetically appealing and respect the environment. Two words get right to the heart of our business competence: Coatings Solutions. Our ability to develop intelligent solutions gives our customers the cutting edge on the international playing field.
Our Refinish Division supply Glasurit and R-M refinish paints and provides staff training to body shops, which repaint damaged vehicles.
Our Industrial Coatings Division specializes in making and selling industrial coatings for metal, coil and foil surface finishes. Our Deeside plant manufactures a variety of products for protective coatings for steel and aluminum, used primarily in the construction industry.
Chemetall develops and manufactures customized technology and system solutions for surface treatment. The products protect metals from corrosion, facilitate forming and machining, allow parts to be optimally prepared for the painting process and ensure proper coating adhesion. These chemicals are used in a wide range of industries and end-markets, such as automotive, aerospace, aluminum finishing, and metal forming.
The Danish market is served by the local Chemetall sales office based at the BASF A/S office at Kalvebod Brygge 45, a branch of Chemetall AB, based in Sweden.
