At BASF, we don’t wait for change, we help shape it. Our innovations and our people support customers around the world on their transformation journey.
How clay improves the energy efficiency of buildings
Clay is one of the oldest building materials in the world – and more relevant than ever. With Cavipor®, a mineral based clay foam, BASF combines traditional materials with modern technology. The result is a sustainable, safe, and efficient insulation solution specifically developed for the energy efficient renovation of existing buildings with cavity walls.
How Agricultural Innovation Drives Affordable Food Production
Ensuring affordable food production depends on a strong, reliable supply that can withstand shocks from extreme weather, increasing pest pressure, trade disruption, and changing regulations. Agricultural innovation strengthens food security by helping farmers boost productivity, resilience, and efficiency.
Every small action moves us towards big change. That’s why everyone at BASF, no matter where they are or what they do, is making climate protection a priority.
Human rights protect the dignity of each and every person. Respecting human rights in our own operations and business relationships is the foundation of our social responsibility.
