Daily program Visitor Center

From Monday to Friday, you can delve into the BASF world free of charge every day, whether it be for an interesting tour by yourself around our exhibition or on an impressive site tour (only held in German).

The BASF Visitor Center offers you the possibility of experiencing BASF first‑hand. Our guides help you through our exhibition across an area of over 2,000 square meters. Look forward to many magical moments and over 200 exhibits relating to the topic of chemistry. There is so much to discover. 

Important hygiene & safety regulations for your visit

·         Please visit us only if you are completely healthy!

·         If you are travelling with more than one participant, please make sure that only one person registers for the whole group at the reception in the Visitor Center.

·         Our visitor parking lot is still available for you. The participants of the site tours can wait here for the program to begin.

·         All guests are requested to wear a face mask covering their mouth and nose from the moment they enter the Visitor Center as well as before and during the tours of the plant. This can be a cloth face mask, a surgical mask or a scarf.

·         Please wash your hands in the rest rooms or disinfect your hands immediately after entering the Visitor Center.

·         Lockers as well as the cloakroom are out of order for the time being, so please do not bring any luggage into the building.

·         Our visitors must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres during the entire visit, group formation is to be avoided.

·         In addition, the hygiene tips of the Federal Centre for Health Education (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung) as signposted on site apply.

Important info

The exhibition is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Children aged 6 and above may participate in the site tour. All program activities are free of charge and are freely selectable. The BASF Visitor Center is closed on public holidays.
