Our goals

Our goal is to help disadvantaged people to improve their living conditions in the long term - especially if they are repeatedly affected by disasters. 

Using a holistic approach, we combine anticipatory measures with responsive emergency aid and support for the recovering of livelihoods.

As a non-profit corporate foundation, we naturally also support BASF's social commitment. 

Under the motto "separated, but not isolated", BASF Stiftung supports international projects in the field of disaster management where market-based solutions are not sufficient to meet societal challenges. Within our topics "Health & Skills", the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals guide our actions.
