Dirk Elvermann was born in Unna, Germany, in 1971. He studied Law and Economics at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, and completed his doctorate in Law in 2002.

He is responsible for the divisions Corporate Finance; Corporate Audit; Corporate Taxes & Duties; Global Business Services; Global Digital Services; Global Procurement; BASF Venture Capital and the startup trinamiX.
